For the safety of all patients and clients, all dogs should be leashed, or placed in a secure carrier and should not be allowed to roam unsupervised in the clinic.
For all cat patients, they should be transported and housed in a secure carrier when you arrive in the clinic. Please refrain from carrying your cat into the clinic, as there is a potential for your cat to get spooked and run off.
Small pocket pets and avian patients should be transported in a suitable sized and secure carrier.
Admission for surgery
All patients getting admitted for surgery should be fasted at least 12 hours prior to the surgery. This usually entails no food after midnight, no breakfast on surgery day, and no more consumption of water after 9am.
