How do you request for a prescription refill?
You may call our clinic, contact us via email, complete the online Prescription Refill Request Form or drop off a hard copy of a Prescription Request form at the clinic.
What are the rules and regulations with prescription refills?
Veterinary clinics are bound by strict rules and regulations when dispensing and selling medications. We understand that these rules can seem inconvenient, but they exist to protect the well-being of the pets we are treating and we are obligated to abide by them.
Some prescriptions will require a veterinary examination of your pet prior to authorization for re-filling. For restricted drugs, there must be an active client – patient – veterinarian status (ie. Consultation, Physical Examination, Review for the medical condition done within a month(s) to a year) prior to refill.
How will I know my prescription is ready for pick up?
Once the prescription has been approved, clinic staff will contact you by phone or email and advise you of the pickup time and date.
How long do I have to wait for my prescription order to be refilled?
Prescription refill requests will take 24 to 48 hours to process. All prescriptions require a veterinarian’s approval.
